Liminal City: Axiom of Maria is a solo-developed 3D Metroidvania set in the dystopian future of Axiom of Maria. Development began in 2024.

The story begins with Kay, the protagonist, searching for her missing husband in a city now maintained by AIs, long after humanity’s disappearance. While the story connects to the previous title, Axiom of Maria: Prologue, playing the earlier game is not required. As the game progresses, players uncover the hidden truths behind this world.

The game features fast and precise action, meticulously designed boss battles, endless corridors and spaces to explore, and puzzles and story clues that fill these areas. It also incorporates extensive feedback from the previous title, refining its gameplay and storytelling to deliver a more immersive experience. I’m aiming to complete the game in 2026.
